Andrew serves as a staff engineer at the Robotics Factory and supports hardware startups in the Innovation Works portfolio by assisting with technical development, supply chain management and strategic growth planning.
Andrew is a technology leader with 12 years of robotics engineering and startup founder experience and specializes in technical execution and strategic partnerships. Andrew holds patents in additive manufacturing machine design and closed loop ML-based robotic systems. Prior to joining Robotics Factory, Andrew founded Cobbler Technologies, a leader in large format precision additive manufacturing machines for composite ultrapolymers and Alphalab Gear alumni as well as L&K Manufacturing, inc., the first commercial additive manufacturing service provider in the state of Maine. Prior to building companies, Andrew served in engineering and quality roles for Ellison Surface Technologies acquired by Bodycote plc (LSE: BOY), the largest heat treatment and thermal processing provider in the world and Johnson Outdoors (NASDAQ JOUT), a global leader in consumer outdoor products.
Andrew has worked as a consultant with companies of all sizes and across a diverse range of industries including robotics, aerospace, semiconductor, consumer, biomedical among others and is passionate about leveraging robotics technology for social impact. With a dedication to creating cutting-edge tools, he aims to empower communities and drive positive progression of the industry 4.0 and AI enabled economy of the future.
